Show SERVICES FOR MRS. E. DAVIES Funeral services for Mrs. Esther C. Davies, 42, wife of William Davies of this city, who died Sunday Sun-day night at a Provo hospital of infection from a thumb injury, will be held Friday at 1 p. m., in the First ward chapel. Friends may call at the family residence before the services. Mrs. Davies was born in Nutiio-so, Nutiio-so, Ariz., February 20, 1894, a daughter of Lymun and Fannie Hoble Hamblin. She has alwuys been a faithful member of the L. D. S. church and prior to coming com-ing to Springville had served as Relief society president and also president of the Primary. The family had lived in Springville about 18 -months, coming here from Talmudge, Utah. Surviving are her husband and eight sons and daughters, Mrs. Maggie D. Stevenson, Mountain Home; Lyman, Addie, Delbert, Lamar, John R., Eileen and Geniel Davies all of Springville; two grandchildren and 10 brothers and sisters: Mrs. Lois Golding, Wellington; Mrs. Fannie Hill, Erma Hamblin, Salt Lake City; Charles A. Hamblin, Heber City; Mrs. Pearl Milncr, Provo; Mrs. Ruby Ambler, Nevada; Mrs. Iris Palmer, Mrs. Molly Taylor. Ken-nilworth; Ken-nilworth; Lyman Hamblin, Springville; Spring-ville; Thco N. Hamblin, Los Angeles, An-geles, Calif. |
