Show Services Friday for native of Springville Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday at 1 p.m., at the Wheeler Mortuary, for Mrs. Edith Estella Snow, 81, a former for-mer resident of Springville, who died Tuesday at the Pay-son Pay-son Hospital. Friends may call at the Mortuary Mor-tuary this evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in the Salem cemetery. Mrs. Snow was born in Springville Dec. 9, 1881, a daughter of John S. and Eva-lyn Eva-lyn Matson Peery. She received receiv-ed her education in schools in this city and was married to Charles Eben Snow, March 31, 1904. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Snow died in 1941. The Snow family lived in Oregon from 1900 to 1924 and later lived at Salem, Park City ' and in Salt Lake since 1941. Mrs. Snow had made numerous visits to Springville, visiting members of her family. She was a member of the South 13th Ward, Salt Lake City. Surviving are nine sons and daughters, Bernard Snow, Mrs. Evalyn Frost, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carl (Clarice) Van Patten, Pat-ten, Acompo, Calif., formerly of Springville; Mrs. Earl (Jessie) (Jes-sie) Low, Springville; Mrs. R. H. (Alice) Jones, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Michael (Jean) Finegan and Howard L. Snow. Kearns; Charles Snow, Park City; Leo J. Snow, Blackfoot. Ida.; also 36 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren and four brothers and sisters, Mrs. Ida Andrews, Salt Lake; Hugh Hutchins, LaCanada, Calif.; Jessie Peery, Albion, Idaho and Jasper Peery, Harper, Oreg. |
