Show Services held here for D. Ft Vightman Funeral services were held Wed. in Second-Eighth ward chapel for Doctor Roy Wight-man, Wight-man, 82, who died Saturday in Pasadena, Calif., after a short illness. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, directed by Claudin-Linde Claudin-Linde Funeral Home. A resident of Springville and well-known druggist for many years, Mr. Wightman resided at 187 East Fourth South, and was visiting in California at the time of his death. He was born Feb. 27, 1878, in Payson to William C. and Lucretia Jane Pepper Wight-man. Wight-man. He married Anna L. .Worthen , Jan..,, ,1,.. 1900, :in Springville. She died Oct. 11, 1949. He was educated in Payson and at the Michigan State Uni-virsity Uni-virsity and University of Ulah. He was a. memher of the Utah and Arizona Pharmaceutical Assn. He operated drugstores in Salt Lake City, Eureka and Globe, Arizona, in addition to one in Springville. He was a member of the LDS church. Surviving are the following sons and daughter: William A. Wightman of Springville; Richard Rich-ard R. Wightman of Arcadia, Calif.; Mrs. James A. Josephine) Joseph-ine) Hughes of Pasadena; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. |
