Special programs were given in ' the Springville and Mapleton wards Sunday evening under the direction of the geological comniiitees. The speakers were : First ward, R. B. Snell ; Second ward, E. S. Evan Harrington of Thistle and Owen Harrington of Sweet, Idaho, v"Vre in Springville last Friday to attend the funeral services of their brother Leslie. The Springville-Maplelon Sugar company has announced that the company is ready to pay a stock dividend as soon as all the stock certificates in the old company have been surrendered and new fines issued. People who have slock in the company should have their j certificates changed immediately. The Springville power plant in I Hobble Creek canyon has been i closed down for lack of sufficient I water to operate with. It will prob-I prob-I ably be closed until fall rains come 'sufficient to increase the water supply. |
