In referring to the out put of the steel plant Mr. Bringhurst said "Last Friday Fri-day there were 31-1 men on the pay roll and they turned out 490 tons of pig iron." ; Mr. Bringhurst closed with a patriotic plea for community loyalty. Ray L. Done gave a talk on cooperation, co-operation, in which he strongly urged the patronizing of home industry in-dustry and home institutions. Speeches were also made by John I. Ilolley, Wm. T. Tew and I,. A. Nielson all of Mnpleton and by President Pres-ident M. E. Crandall. Jr. . J. F. Wingale acted as toast-master. toast-master. Miss Sarah Holley gave a reading and the Kiwanis male quartet quar-tet gave three selections. |
