David Nester David Marlin Nester, son of Michael and Charlene Nester, has been called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Missouri Independence Mission. Gavin Eugene Collett This sweet little boy is Gavin Eugene Collett. He celebrated his first birthday on Jan. 17,2010. He is the son of J.T. and Amberly Collett. Gavin loves climbing, giving highfives and doing everything with his big brother Braiden. He also loves his grandparents. They are Bryon and Carrie Peterson of Spanish Fork and Jim and Carol Collett of Salem. His greatgrandparents are Gary and Carma Roach, Wayne all of Spanish Fork. Join us at the Salem City Library for a Percy Jackson Party, celebrating the arrival of the movie, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. Everyone is invited! The party will begin on Friday, Feb. 12 at 5 p.m. and end around 7 p.m. (just in time to go see the movie). Come dressed as your favorite god or goddess, or monster from the Percy Jackson books or another creature from mythology. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. Deacon is such a fun, good-natured little boy who loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and play with his big brother, Luke. Spanish Fork Youth Theatre will be presenting The Wizard Of Oz' as their spring performance. Under the direction of Karma Christensen, over 100 area youth are in weekly rehearsals to bring this beloved story to life. Munchkins, witches and lovable heroes will be singing and dancing their way down the yellow brick road on their way to Oz. Costumes are being fitted and scenery painted so everything will be ready for performances during the last week of March. More information on dates and times of performances will be forthcoming.
