Show SPANISH FORK WEDNESDAY, APRIL 29, 2009 • A5 Covering what matters most- SFHS Dance Company to perform 'iDance' Spanish Fork High School Dance Company would like to announce their spring concert titled "iDance." The program will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, May 6-7 at 7:30 p.m. in the SFHS Auditorium. The program will have many different dance styles with pieces showcasing modem, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, and ballroom. In addition to student choreography, the company has been workings with three professional choreographers and will be presenting the works of Linda Lewis, Stacy Bills, and Tiffany Patten. Quilt: From QUILT • A4 munity, and Mayor Harding accepted it as the city council applauded. The warm colors of the quilt seemed to glow in the yellow rooms of the city building, and Harding told the quilters that he would display it along with credits to the club members. When the council first started meeting in the new building in February, its interior was starkly Spar- tan. Since then, the city has installed carpeting throughout, wood trim and lintels, and the large meeting room has a woodpaneled floor. A few desks sit in the still unfurnished building. Courtesy photo NEW OFFICERS: Doug Lund was recently elected president of the Kiwanis Club. Von Isaman will serve as president-elect and Bob Zahrt will be vice-president. Clyde Nielsen will continue as secretary and Mark Nelson as the treasurer. Eugene Colledge is the past president These new officers will assume their responsibilities in October 2009.
