Those things aren't deterring Salem Hills High School gearing up for its inaugural school year. On Monday June 2, 2008 incoming students, parents and the general community were invited to tour the new high school and see what it's all about. The Parent, Teacher and Student Association (PTSA) was on hand to help keep things running smoothly, and to serve hamburgers and hot dogs to hungry visitors. All proceeds went to either the PTSA or towards the purchase of a brass skyhawk statue. Faculty and students proudly wore Skyhawk blue as they showed people around their new school.
