The trip was conducted by Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Gardiner. Eighteen students went to Weber State to participate in different art workshops, such as pin hole photography, portrait drawing, print making on linoleum, finger drawing, computer graphics and found object sculptures with Joseph Cornell. These The other guys' low price... is our everyday price different workshops were taught by different artists and art teachers. After they had their lunch, the students were able to meet with representatives from many Utah colleges to learn more about scholarships and the different programs that each college offered relating to the field of the arts. Many of the seniors who attended the workshops also brought portfolios to show prospective colleges and some were even offered the chances for scholarships because of their great talents shown by their work, as well as their positive academic skills. Mrs. Roberts and Mrs. Gardiner explained that it was a good opportunity for seniors to talk to different colleges and to be able to see what their future might have in store for them. The teachers told us that they also enjoyed seeing the students presenting their work and learning more about their individual interests and passions. Mrs. Roberts exclaimed, "It was a good day!"
