Music season begins Mascot needs name The Cedar City Music Arts Association presents its 1984-8- 5 season in. the Cedar High School Auditorium on Sept. 26 beginning at 8:00 p.m. The United States Army Field Band and Soldiers Chorus begins Wednesday. This touring group is the official musical representative of the United States Army. The group originated on 1946 and currently makes two major concert tours each year. The American Folk Ballet begins Wednesday, October 3. It will be under the direction of Burch Mann. American dance is explored with Indian traditions, ragtime tap dance, and pioneer shin-digmore. The Utah Symphony will begin Thursday, November 8. The Utah The Cheerleaders present the Name the Thunderbird (Mascot) Contest. Turn in entries to the Student Center Offices. Winner will receive a cash prize of $25.00. Winning entry will be announced September 29, prior to the Mesa vs. SUSC game. s, Mangione is coming The Chuck Mangione Concert will be held Thursday, October 11, at 8:00 p.m. in the SUSC Fieldhouse. Tickets are available at the SUSC Box Office, Munson Music, and Jolleys Ranchwear. Ticket cost is $8.00 for students and $10.00 to the public (Junior High and older). Deadlines approach Students who have yet to register, or who have registered but expect to add or drop a class, should keep a few dates, in mind To begin with, a $10 late registration fee goes into effect today. Any student who wants to add a class must complete the process by Oct. 8. Students wishing to withdraw from any class or classes must have their forms filled out and the the registrars office no late than Oct. 15. There is a $1 charge for each class added or dropped, and this charge must be paid when adding or dropping. The last day to withdraw from school altogether is Nov. 5. Tuition refunds for students who drop out of school are paid on the following schedule: Until Oct. 1 students receive 100 leave percent of their tuition when the school. From Oct. 2 until Oct. 9, 70 percent refundable. From Oct. 10 until Oct. 15, 50 percent is refundable. The college cashier will not refund any tuition money after Oct. 15. is Law seminar coming Topics of Law in Small Business, a workshop sponsored by the SUSC Small Business Development Center, will be held on campus Oct. 2. The workshop will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. in Business Room 103.
