The 1984-8- 5 season is a journey, he continued, from the pyramids of Egypt to the horrors of the Salem witch hunts and on to the 1930s and a big invisible rabbit. Well take you not only into space and time but to the outermost reaches of the human heart and mind, he said. While all evening performances will start at 8 p.m. several scheduling changes are in the making, particularly in regards to afternoon matinees, the promotions coordinator said. Admission to all except one of the six major productions is included in the price of the season ticket. Available from 1 to 5 p.m. weekdays at the SUSC Auditorium box office or by calling ticket prices are $18 per person or $32 per couple for adults and $15 per person of $25 per couple for high school students and senior citizens. SUSC students are admitted free by show of activity cards. While drama club members will sell tickets by telephone, patrons are encouraged to get their tickets as soon as possible to reserve their favorite seats. Harvey, the big white rabbit who made his theatre debut in the 1930s, will return to SUSC in an Oct. 16 through 20 arena production. R. Scott Phillips is the comedy director with sets and costumes by Sandra Stiglinski, a special instructor of theatre arts at SUSC. Jimmy Stewart starred in the movie based on Mary Chases classic comedy which Phillips bills as one of the most popular and successful plays of all time. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and Dec. 6 through 8 mainstage production scheduled to be directed by Fred C. Adams, SUSC professor of theatre arts. Stiglinski will design the costumes with the set designed by Gary M. McIntyre, chairman of the SUSC Department of theatre arts and Dance.
