Patients are being discharged early and will require trained persons, as well as family education, to function effectively in thehomes or care centers. Some of the direct responsibilities go back to the family. The nursing care is arranged according to the needs of the patient. The cost of health care is greatly reduced when patients are kept in their own homes. Daily care is available to those who need nursing assistance. Many C.N.A.s (certified nurses aids) are entering the field of rapid growth as the system improves w'ith new changes and information. The certified nurses aide, is functioning under the direct supervision of a certified nurse or team leader. Pauline Robinson, a C.N.A. is functioning under the program in the health care institution of Southern Utah Health Care, which directs her to patients in the Valley and in Kanab as well, when the team is overloaded. It is a group effort to work efficiently for the best home health care that may be provided. Other health care systems are functioning much the same way. The personal care is received well by the regular patients who depend on their own health care nurse to come into their homes andgive them the confidence and care they need. The patients of- Ron Johnson Johnson completes Primary FlightTraining First Lieutenant Ron Johnson, United States Marine Corps, son of Isaac and Marilyn Johnson of Fredonia, recently completed Primary Flight Training at the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi , Texas. Johnson finished in the top 5 of naval aviators, and achieved the Commodores List with Distinction. Ron and his family will remain in Corpus Christi for advanced training. After completing this, he will receive his aviator wings and will report to Cheriy Point, North Carolina for training in the U.S.M.C. transports. Ron is married to the former Tonya Holliday, daughter ofBi and Crystal Holliday of Fredonia. They have two sons, Trevin and Bryce.
