POE Auxiliary Sees Cabin Dedication At the summer camp of the Young Men's Christian Associa-tion, located just east of Kamas, in the beautiful and colorful Was-atch mountains, members of the Salt Lake Auxiliary of the Fra-ternal Order of Eagles have Just witnessed the realization of a dream. In reality, it is the dream-chil- d of one slender little lady with a heart that loves children, who worked and pushed and cajoled and talked to see her dream be-come the dream of her Auxiliary and from there, become a won-derful and lasting tribute to the aims and ideals of the FOE. Last spring, after nearly a year of hard work and concentrated effort, both on her part and that of her auxiliary sisters, Mrs. Mer-len- e Loveridge, chairman of the Charity Committee, presented in the name of her Auxiliary, a check for $500 to Roger H. Freund, sec-retary of the local YMCA, the money designated for the erection of another cabin at the mountain camp of the youth organization. And now, the cabin has been completed, and on Sunday, Oct. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at the YMCA youth camp, with many members of the Auxiliary and their families in attendance, the cabin was dedi-cated for the furtherance of na-ture study, by the boys who spend their vacations in that lovely spot. And in spite of the tragic loss of their main dining hall and re-creation room, which burned to the ground during a recent elec-- trical storm, all members of the YMCA are looking forward eager-ly to next summer, when they iwill begin the Herculean task of ng their main hall.
