Show As a sequel to disputed ownership owner-ship of a Jersey cow claimed by Mrs. Emma Iloughman of Omaha, Judge King has neld Charles Ep-stine Ep-stine for trial in the district court on the charge of theft. Epstine had no proof of ownership other than his word. Mrs. Iloughman asked that the cow be brought into court. The judge consented. As soon as the Jersey appeared, Mrs. Iloughman called it by an endearing endear-ing name and the cow walked up to her and kissed her. Three times the experiment was tried and the cow each time kissed the woman. This settled the ownership to the satisfaction of the court. |
