Show THE SUPERIOR MINES. The Property is Showing-Up Showing-Up Splendidly. J. W. Hoggan, president of the Manti Mining and Development company, returned yesterday from the mines in Iron county. lie has been absent six days, and while there made a thorough examination of the company's property. He reports everything favorable and is more highly elated and thinks more of the mine than he ever did. The gange has come in again and the rich ore is to be seen again near the end of the last contract. This ore covers nearly half of the bottom of the drift, and on investigating inves-tigating fully they found where a recent flood had uncovered the quartz for about 75 feet on claim No. 2, which lies directly east of No. 1, where the works are. It is a sure thing that the body of ore will soon be reached, and the lead takes a straight course to Iron mountain. This in short is his report of the mine. Work will resume again in about ten days, as the boys are busy planting corn and potatoes. |
