Show Canyonlands Capitol THURSDAY, Calvin Black to seek reelection Incumbent San Juan County Commissioner Calvin Black announced today that he will run again for County Commissioner in the Republican primary election. "I am announcing my intention to seek reelection to the County Commission," he stated. "I have appreciated," he continued, "the opportunity of serving for the last three plus years and enjoyed working in the interests of the people of San Juan County. " Mr. Black's major assignments have been highways and transportation. He points with pride to the record of accomplishments in that area on the basis of completed projects, projects now under way, and those to be advertised in the near future as evidence of major success.
