Show PIONEER WOMAN DIES OF GENERAL DEBILITY Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 2S Mrs. Mary Brooks Herrlck, 79 years old, died at the residence of her eon, Frank B. Herrick on Riverdale road, at 6:30 o'clock last evening of general gen-eral debility. Mrs. Herrick was born in North Wales in 1S39. She came to Utah with her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Brooks, in 1856 and married Lester James Herrick the following fol-lowing year. She is survived by one daughter and two sons, Mrs. S. E. Randall, Ran-dall, Spokane, Wash., N. A. Herrick, Spanish Fork, and Frank B. Herrick of Riverdale; sixteen grandchildren, eleven great - grandchildren and one brother, George Brooks of St. George. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Friday Fri-day afternoon at the Eleventh ward chapel, Bishop N. A. Tanner officiating. The body may be viewed at the home tomorrow to-morrow up to the time for the funeral. Burial will be in City cemetery. |
