Show CONDITIONS IMPROVE AT COPPER LEAF MINE i . Conditions of a favorable nature have been encountered on the property of the Copper I ,eaf Mining company, according to Thomas F. Pierpon t, president and geenral manager, The blower, which was recently installed, has overcome the trouble trou-ble with gas which handicapped operations so seriously for a considerable time. The new equipment at the Central Standard mine, which adjoins the Copper Cop-per Leaf, has been installed and was op- crating yes I erday. At present the shaft is down sixty feet. A contract to sink the shaft a'n additional 500 feet has been let to Flmer Duncan, who has already begun operations. |
