Frank Ferustrom Selected to Lmd tbe HosU as Chief of the 0orp3 Cu!gates in Attendanos- The democrats assembled in campaign cam-paign convention at the Federal court room lust night. They were called to order by ex Governor West. Colonel II. C. Lett was ealfed to the chair and staled the object of the convention con-vention to be the election of a campaign committee. "H e have met here." said he, "to prepare ourselves for tho light tiiat is to tako place at the February election, and to show the people thnt we e;in do at least as well ns has been done in 1 1 o.int two years." Joe Walden thought this ii uni tier too unwieldy and as an amendment offered a resolution that the committee consist of one representative from each precinct pre-cinct with two committeemen at large. Colonel Merritt ottered as an amendment amend-ment to the amendment that each precinct pre-cinct be entitled to two committeemen with a committeeman at large. Delegate N. A. l'ark did not think twenty any more than was necessary neces-sary to keep all poiuts of tlm battle ground under constant vigilance.
