Show COL. HOLL 1ST EN'S FUNERAL. Tho Remains Hurled After Impressive Cor-einoiiv Cor-einoiiv This Afternoon. Tho tribute paid the dead today was no more eloquent than are the deeds that live syiubizj a noble life. The friends of Col. O. J. Hoi lister, and they were legion, gathered in large numher at thu residence at 'J o'clock this afternoon after-noon to express their grief and to olfcr comfort com-fort to the relatives. The ceremonies at the residence Ware short hut, impressive, the Kev. .1. B. Thrall conducting them, who delivered de-livered appropriate and touching muarl.s over one who had been foremost in the Upbuilding and the work of tho Congregational church. The church'chair of which Col.Hollisler had been an active member supplied the solemn melody, alter which the remains were escorted es-corted to the city of silence. The floral triliules wore of most, significant design and came from many sources. |
