Cunningham returned la-t night from his monthly visit to the Mammoth mine. E. B. True and w ife of llaily Idaho, arrived ar-rived in the city today and are registered at the Walker. . City Physician Hall is preparing a pamphlet pam-phlet on how to prevent the spread of diphtheria diph-theria and other contagious diseases. H. B. Leather of Omaha, an old friend of W. II. Smith the lumber man, is a new ar rival who will take up his residenc e here. W. H. Smith, superintendent of the Bul-iion-Beck will shortly make, a trip to the Pacific coast for the bcuitit ot his health. W. It. Wilson the fascinating brunette who insists upon shedding light, ineaudscent light, upon all subjects is in the city again studyingornithology under the direction of Colonel Charlie Merritt. Lieutenant (ieorge yesterday succeeded Major Clapp as canteen officer at Fort Douglas, Doug-las, the latter having been ordered to Rosebud Rose-bud agency, for which place he will take his departure ou Saturday. The major has a large circle of friends who will regret his departure while they are congratulating Lieutenant George. . m . |
