Show Mary W. Shields Is Honored At Prenuptial Lunch Fete Miss Rhea Gibson was the charming hostess at a delightful bridge luncheon given Tuesday at the home of her parents. Dean and Mrs. J. L. Gibson, 1337 Harrison avenue, honoring Miss Mary W. Shields, whose marriage to William Miller McPhee takes place De- cembei" 27. The guests were seated at one table, which was effectively decorated deco-rated with a winter scene with miniature cedar trees, reindeer and a pond. Crimson pyracantha also was used. The guests were Miss Shields, Mrs. Dan B. Shields, Mrs. J. L. Gibson, Mrs. W. Harold Dal-gliesh, Dal-gliesh, Mrs. H. B. Cottingham, Mrs. Harold - Boehmer, Mrs. L. D. Schroder, Miss Ruth Keller and Miss Edna Keller. Mra. Arthur L. Beeley and her daughter, Miss Mary Beeley, will give a 4 o'clock tea on Thursday at the Beeley home, 243 Twelfth East street, for Miss Shields. Sunday evening Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Billings will give a supper for the bridal party at their home on Butler avenue. The wedding will take place on Monday at 4 p. m. at the First Unitarian Uni-tarian church and the Rev. Jacob Trapp will officiate. The bride will be attended by ber sister, Miss Jane Shields, as maid of honor. Elmo Stewart will be best man and David' Brown and Peter Billings will be ushers. I |
