Show Nevada at the Altar To-Day. Pabis, October', 1. Mile. Nevada was married mar-ried to-day to Dr. Raymond Palmer, of Birmingham, Bir-mingham, England. The civil service took place at the English Embassy, and the religious re-ligious ceremonies at the Churoh of Pas-Bionist Pas-Bionist Fathers. The bridesmaids were Misses Morris, Johnston, Everett and Taf t, of America. Salvini, the Italian tragedian, was "best man." The attendance was large and American, English and Parisian fashionable fash-ionable society were well represented. The occasion was marked by much enthusiasm, and the display of flowers and elegant costumes cos-tumes lent an air of gaiety to the scene. The whole American colony attended the ceremonies. Rev.. Father Michael Watts Russell, of the Passionist order, reotor of St. Joseph's Retreat, Highgate Hill, London, delivered an eloquent oration. A string band furnished music for the occasion. Miss Laura Moore sang a solo with harp accompaniment. The wedding breakfast was served at the Hotel Athene. |
