Biologists for the Division of Wildlife Re- sources of the Utah Natural Department Resources and Energy have released harvest information for the 1981 upland game seasons. of The highest pheasant harvest since 1972 was recorded in 1981, with 83,408 hunters harvesting 234,217 pheasants. Utah County reported the highest percent of harvest with 17.89, followed by Box Elder County with 12.94. in up 1981, but both hunters was down. A total of 12,907 hunters harvested 44,983 chukars. Box Elder County reported 26.85 percent of the harvest, followed by Tooele Countys 14.11 percent.
