Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Honoring the wedding anniversary anniver-sary of Mr and Mrs. Ed Hart, their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, spent last Tuesday evening in Duchesne to present an anniversary anniver-sary gift and enjoy an evening of bridge and a delicious lunch. Mrs. Bliss Lott was hostess to members of the Friday Bridge Club last week. Fourteen members were present. Mr. and Mrs. John McClellan entertained at dinner Friday evening. The following guests were present: Mr. and Mrs. Leo Elder, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tiddell, and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Pratt. Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart in Du-chesn, Du-chesn, on Thursday evening, where they visited with Wm. Foutz, of Portland, Oregon, a house guest of the Harts. Mrs. Lucy Barney, of Escalan-te, Escalan-te, arrived last week to visit with her son-in-law and daughter, daugh-ter, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Partridge. Part-ridge. Word has been received of the arrival of an infant son, born April 10th to Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Tanner at Sacramento, California. Mr. Tanner is a former for-mer Myton resident, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David Tanner. The grandparents are very pleased over the arrival of their first grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Orval Warner, of Bingham Canyon, visited Thursday and Friday at the home of Mrs. Warner's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Ole Peterson. Mrs. Morris Peterson and children, chil-dren, of Provo, arrived last week to visit with her sister, Mrs. La-Vor La-Vor Dennis. Mr. Peterson came Saturday to spend the weekend, i James Giles was honored Fri-Iday Fri-Iday at a family dinner celebrating celebrat-ing his birthday anniversary. ! Present were Mr. and Mrs. Guy I Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Don Giles, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Brundage, Mr. and 'Mrs. Charles Martin, Rex Giles and Jack Giles. Mrs. James Bywater entertained enter-tained Sunday afternoon for her little daughter, LaRce. honoring her 8th birthday anniversary. A large group of young friends enjoyed en-joyed an afternoon of games, followed fol-lowed by delicious refreshments. The Myton Boy Scout troop, accompanied by their scoutmaster, scoutmas-ter, John H. Blaine, left Sunday on a hike, spending Sunday night at camp and returning home Monday morning in time , for school. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hackett, of Salt Lake City, were Myton visitors vis-itors Saturday evening. They were weekend visitors in Tab-liona. Tab-liona. Mr. Hackett is a former Myton resident and his many friends enjoyed his brief visit here. A group of American Legion members left Friday morning for Gold Hill, Nevada, to dismantle and load a building recently ac quired by Wm. R. Sands Post No. 5. Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Pcctol arrived Thursday from Korbel California to spend a short time visiting with relatives. Mrs. Wallace Dennis, Miss Beverly Partridge, Mrs. William Harris and Mrs. James Dalgleish left Monday morning for Salt Lake City, where they attended the banquet, Monday evening at the Utah Hotel, honoring the National president of the American Ameri-can Legion Auxiliary, Mrs, Dorothy Dor-othy Pearl, who was a guest of the Department of Utah. The American Legion Auxiliary Auxili-ary Wm. R. Sands Unit No. 5 was host Wednesday afternoon to Department President Mrs Marjoric McMurrin and Depart! ment Secretary Mrs. Eva D Coakley, who are visiting units in this district. Mrs. J, J. Solomonson and two children left Monday morning for Salt Lake City, where her little daughter will receive medical med-ical attention. Syerl Dennis left Monday morning for Heber to receive a physical checkup following his recent operation .Mr and Mrs. Emery Nielson left Wednesday for Salt Lake City, where Mr. Nielson entered a hospital. He will undergo an operation on Thursday. Their daughter, Mrs. Earl Hardinger, of Roosevelt, will have charge of the bus station during their absence- |
