Show FuneraSs RELLA FAUSETT COOPER Funeral services for Mrs. Rcl-la Rcl-la Fausett Cooper, '62, wife of Floyd Cooper, who died Saturday Satur-day morning in a Los Angeles hospital of a lingering illness, will be conducted Friday at 1 p. m. in the Roosevelt stake tabernacle. Burial will be in the Roosevelt cemetery'. Born at Wallsburg, Wasatch county, Oct. 16, 1897, a daughter daugh-ter of William and Bertha Herbert Her-bert Fausett, she was married to Frank Horsley in September, 1916, in Duchesne. In 1940 she was married to Floyd Cooper, and they moved to Los Angeles, where she resided re-sided until her death. She was a member of the LDS church.) Survivors include, besides her husband, two sons, Sam and Tom Horsley, Los Angeles, and a daughter, Mrs. Edna Rogers, St. George; three brothers, William Wil-liam Fausett and Elmer Fausett, Myton, Richard Fausett, Upalco; four sisters, Mrs. Sylvia Newton, Eureka, Calif.; Mrs. Mary Cox, Boonville, California; Mrs. Betty Bet-ty Wilson, Roosevelt; and Mrs. Hazel Mann, Myton. CHARLES B. BARTLETT Funeral services for Charles Bart Bartlett, 80, of Tridell, one of the first settlers of Ashley valley, were held Wednesday in the Tridell LDS ward chapel, Bishop H. LeRoy Morrill officiating. offici-ating. Interment was iri the Tridell Tri-dell cemetery. He died in a Salt Lake City hospital Sunday of a heart ailment. ail-ment. Born Aug. 27, 1869, in Mountain Moun-tain Dell, Salt Lake county, a son of Charles Claymore and Anna Katrina Jensen Bartlett, he moved with his parents to Ashley' valley in 1879. While there he was LDS stake clerk and counselor, and was presiding elder for the former LDS branch in Tridell, and first bishop of the former Liberty Lib-erty ward organized from the branch. A number of years ago, Mr. Bartlett, with Georga A. Bartlett Bart-lett and John' Merkley, owned and edited the Vernal Express. He continued as an editor on the Express for a time after selling out his interests on that newspaper. He married Margaret Watt in the Salt Lake LDS temple. She died in September, 1948. He is survived by a son, Geo. W. Bartlett, Tridell; 7 grandchildren; grand-children; 2 brothers, Ashley Bartlett, Fontana, Calif., and Ross Bartlett, Salt Lake City; 3 sisters, Mrs. Nellie Merkley, Tridell; Mrs. May B. Henderson and Mrs. Sarah Bingham, Vernal. |
