Another Monday Night Fire That Lies Shrouded in Mystery. A fire occurred on the property tf George Meldrum. in this city, on Monday Mon-day night last, about 12 o'clock, by which Mr. Meldrum lost his barn and about two tons of hay. The origin of th fire can not be discovered, but it is a significant fact that it happened on a Monday night and the tires that occurred duriig tb winter happened the same night of the week. The fire department arrived on the scene about 30 minutes after the fir started, and probably would have been loi;ger, had it not been for Billy Wilson who saw the blaze and at once started for the fire bell, and rang it as it never has been rung before. The fire engine in crossing the track got stuck, and it took time and tlie combined help of men. women and children to get it across, so that tlie fire had gained too much headway for much good to be done. The damage amounted to about $1,000. No clue of its origin has been discovered. CONTRACTORS and BUILDERS. i'HE MOST COMPLETE PLANING lbW IN UTAH 03TTSIDE OF SALT LAKE.
