Show o Armistice Day In American Ameri-can Fork Proclaimed Whereas, the date of November 11 has heretofore been set apart for the observance of the anniversary of th( signing of the Armistice which ter. minated the greatest of war of all time, and Whereas, American Fork City participated par-ticipated in the great war, as did all American cities, by offering to the service of our country all it had in material wealth, man power and moral mo-ral support, to the effect that the war I was gloriously culminated in our in- terest, r,na Whereas, many of the splendid sons of our city were called upon to pay the supreme sacrifice and many others now linger in our midst injured in-jured and incapacitated by the war, as constant reminders of the horror of war and the blessing of peace, and Whereas, this city since the war has prospered in peace, and for that peace and prosperity we are indebted to the patriotism of oct people, and the blessings of God. Now, therefore, Monday, November 11, 19.29, is hereby set aside for the fitting observance of the Armistice anniversary in American Fork City, and all citizens are urged and invited to join in the remembrance thereof.
