Todd, JY-, of Midvale, cashier ot the bank, also worked hard to get the. bank in readiness for the openlng- At 9 o'clock Saturday morning the doors were thrown open to the pub. lie and a glorious sight greeted every, one who entered. The bank room was a regular flower haven, and the beautifully beau-tifully decorated ceiling and walls as a background created a harmonious effect very few will forget. Among (he many flower contributions was one from our local florist, Humphries and Sons, which was truly "a banket of beauty". The building was designed by K. C. Watkins of Salt J-alte City nd the decorating done by our local leading decorators ot the Ktate, HIooiiKjulnt Decorating Co., who have also a good start on the decorating of the American Ameri-can Fork Second ward chapel, the AK pine ward chapel and other work that calls for originality and beauty In riff orations. The total cost of the building now completed and furnished is more than 530,000. Work on the structure was started June 3- o |
