I remarked, "Suppose, that all the religions, today, to-day, are wrong would you want a mixture of falsness"? His answer was "no", then in a pleasant way he continued in presenting to me his views. In this age of thinking think-ing the rational mind is fastly coming com-ing to that knowledge. With such a conclusion under consideration, the claims of Mormonlsm may then become be-come an appealing message to the searcher. I have often tried to picture myself my-self as a drifter, living in the midst of religeous conflicts. Would I have been an Athiest, an Agnostic, o? an indifferent Christian? Would I hiave been living in the slums of a large cilty, or in luxury? Coming to a more practical happenings, could I have tolorated the presence of a Mormon Missionary who presented stable opinions. Such a growth ito a Missionary may seem slow and indefinite, hut to an outside observer Mormonism may be seen taking its' place among the outstanding out-standing organizations in the British Isles. It is my duty at the present time to thank you for the Citizen which has been coming to me regularly. The news of such is uniquely presented pre-sented in concise style and affords one the priviltdge of constantly keep ing in touch with the advancements arid happenings at home. Speaking of the work in the Mission Mis-sion Field in general, I venture to say that I am greatly enjoying my labors among the English people. Obstacles present themselves before us in this work, but we are able to overcome them, and only by constant endeavors and prayful co-operation on the part of all Missionaries con- |
