Show Timpanogos Stake Teachers Convention Teachers convention of the visiting visit-ing teachers of the Timpanogos stake was held in the tabernacle Tuesday, January 14th, with Ella M. Cragun presiding. Roll call showed ITS present. Words of welcome were given by Cora W, Atwood after which a very fine program, was rendered. Ice cream and cake were served, during which Lavina C. Fugal told some humorous stories, Bishop A. H. Loew also spoke. The music was given under the direction of Alta E. Walker choister and Mary C. Neves stake organist. A very pleasant and profitable afternoon was spent. Forty four teachers had made 100 per cent visits during the (past year. The Third ward had made 100 per cent calls during the past two years. The following poem was prepared for the occasion and read. If all the deeds of kindness and ser- vice were written by poet's pen, If all help unselfishly given. Were talked of among men. We would learn more of a group of workers, Of whom but little is said. Yet in our Relief Society organization organiza-tion they are the body that support sup-port the head. Like a great telephone system, Reaching people wherever they live And without them the center of operation op-eration Could but meager service give, Most every one, yes all of them Are home makers and mothers, They find those whose hearts are lonely, Whose hearts are weary and sore, They learn who feel heavily lurdened, As they visit from door to door. Leaving words of cheer and encour-agement, encour-agement, Making all feci, there are Uioso that , care. There are those with interest and sympathy, Who gladly their woes will share. Then they bring to the presidents listening ear News of those whom she should know where with kind words,, money or a helping hand, It would be well for her to go. The task is never too wearisome, Tho they are busy doing their own, But they feel It a duty, a gladsome one to see that some task is done. They visit in summer and winter. They visit in sunshine and rain I have heard of those who went at night Their 100 per cent to attain. i To the door of the "Secret of Happl- Our teachers have found the key For Jesus said, "As we do unto the least of these, ye do it also unto pe."
