Show I Pleasant Grove Locals I , Mr3. R. D. Wadley visited Thursday Thurs-day with her daughter, Mrs. Grace Chipman, of American Fork. Mrs. Vera Rhodebeck of Provo is ill at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Walker of this city. Miss Thelma Shoell who is teaching teach-ing school in Riverton returned to her work Sunday after spending the holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred C. Shoell. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Smith entertained enter-tained last Friday evening for a number of old time neighbors, friends Mr. and Mrs. D. O. Allen and grandson, John Orlo, were the-visitors of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Poulson of Spanish Fork New Year's day. Miss Amy Cooper returned to her school work in Mt. Pleasant Sunday after spending the holidays with relatives rela-tives here. and relatives. Those present were: j Mr. and Mrs. John C. ChriBtensen, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Ball, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Jenson, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew An-drew Thompson, all of this city, and Mr. and Mrs. Peter Logsdon and Mr. and Mrs. Willard Smith and daughter Helen, of American Fork. Lunch was served and the evening was spent in music, games and social j chat. Miss LaRene Cooper returned to Ogden Sunday to resume her school work after visiting here during the I holidays. 1 Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bezzant are rejoicing over the arrival of a fine baby hoy, born Sunday, January 5. Mother and baby are doing nicely. Miss Louise Shoell returned to her school work at Mesquete, Nevada, after spending the Christmas vacation vaca-tion with relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Alton Cox and: son, Rulon Lewis, were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Cox on New Year's night. Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Adams were delightfully entertained at their home last Saturday by their children. The occasion was in honor of their 42nd wedding anniversary also the 1st birthday of their youngest grandson grand-son Dale Robbins. A delicious chick-'en chick-'en supper was served to the following: follow-ing: Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Adams, Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Rogers, John Adams, Mrs. Eliza Banks, Evelyn and George Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Adams, Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Clark all of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rob-bins, Rob-bins, Dr. and Mrs. G. S. Richards, Mr. and Mrs. Junius Adams of Amer-, lean Fork. Late in the evening sweet cidar, pop corn and candy were served. Dudley White has been ill for the past two weeks with rheumatism. He has had twenty-one teeth extracted to aid in the cure of his disease. Will Parks and two daughters of Blackfoot, Idaho, were visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Walker Monday. Mr. Parks is a brother of Mrs.. Walker. Walk-er. LOST Schaeffers Black and White Lifetime Combination Pen and Pencil. Lost between Post office and D. T. R. store. Firemens Association, held at Spring-ville Spring-ville Sunday afternoon, it was decided decid-ed to hold their next meeting in March, in Pleasant Grove. The Pleasant Grove firemen and wives will be host's and hostesses for the occasion. Mrs. Warren Walker, who ha3 been under treatment for some time in a Provo hospital, is very much improved improv-ed in health. She, with her husband, were visiting with relatives in American Amer-ican Fork Sunday. Mrs. Walker will stay in the hospital for some time yet to take final treatments. Fire Chief J. Kemp and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Hans Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Williamson, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Clark, Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Thorne and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Framp-ton Framp-ton attended the Utah-Juab Co. Firemens Fire-mens convention at Springville Sunday Sun-day afternoon. Mrs. Harold Hansen entertained at a social at. her home Friday evening. even-ing.
