Show Funeral Services Held for Washburn Wash-burn Varney Funeral services for Washburn Varney were held in the Second) ward chapel on Wednesday. The large attendance and many floral tributes showed the respect in which this community holds Mr. Varney and his family. Mr. Varney was born in American Fork December 1, 1883 and lived here until about 18 years ago. He died in a Reno, Nevada, Ne-vada, hospital of heart disease and diabetes. Bishop Storrs conducted the services ser-vices The opening prayer was offered of-fered by Stephen Baker after which the song, "I'm A Pilgrim," was sung by Mrs Vern Houston, accompanied ' bv Mrs. West Hammond. The speak-iers speak-iers were Leonard Harrington and Stanley Peters. Bishop Storrs made L few remarks after which Ray Shelley Shel-ley sang the solo, "Face to Face and Washburn S.
