Show f v I i j I a- 1 " k (- MR. AND MRS. J. KENT ANDERSON Wedding Reception Honors Mr. and Mrs. J. Kent Anderson On Thursday, March 13, in the First Ward recreation hall, Mr. and Mrs. Howard G. Warnick entertained en-tertained at a beautifully arranged wedding reception honoring their daughter Janet and J. Kent And-derson, And-derson, who were married Wednesday Wednes-day in the Manti LDS temple. Before a setting of pink and white with lighted candelabra casting a warm glow over the large basket of snapdragons and roses, and reflecting their rays over the bridal party; the bride and groom received relatives and friends. In the lineup with the bride and groom were their parents Mr. and Mrs. Warnick and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd E. Anderson; Matron of Honor, the bride's sister Mrs. Glen Miller and bride's maids, Misses Georgia Lea Bullock, Mel-ba Mel-ba Gardiner, Lynell Johnson, and Colleen Allred. Warren Anderson who assumed the duties of best I man for his brother and train bearers Lana Thompson and Le Vee Ash. For her marriage the bride chose a beautiful bridal creation of ivory satin and lace, fashioned with long shimmering train. Her fingertip veil of illusion fell from a tiny bonnet of matching material mater-ial and held in place by dainty orange blossoms. Her bridal bou-qet bou-qet featured a large orchid, nestled nest-led in white roses. Matron of honor, the bride's sister Mrs. Glen Miller was gowned gown-ed in blue; bride's maids Misses Georgia Lee Bullock, Melba Gardiner, Gard-iner, Lynell Johnson and Colleen Allred wore beautifull pastel for-mals for-mals and carried bouquets of carnations car-nations and hyacinths. Pretty little trainbearer Lana Thompson and LaVee Ash, were clad in yellow. The bride's mother wore acqua with pink roses, while Mrs. Anderson And-erson appeared in a coral gown, and white roses. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Roberts and I Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Belliston graciously received guests at the door, and Miss Lucille Mills and Miss Lois Bezzant handled the guest book. Stake President Merrill N. Warnick, as master of ceremonies, introduced the program numbers: Two vocal solos, "For Time and Eternity," and "Sweethearts" by Miss Lynnell Johnson, accompanied accompan-ied by Miss Ann Clark; an accord-ian accord-ian solo, "Deep Purple," by Larry Miller; a reading by Nancy Armstrong; Arm-strong; a toast to the bride, Mrs. ' Lewis Wells, and a toast to the groom by Mark Anderson. Dancing, refreshments and viewing view-ing the fine gifts completed the evening's festivities. Arranging the gift display were Mrs. Orson Lee, Mrs. David Black-hurst, Black-hurst, Miss Arlene Jorgenson, and Miss Joyce Bullock. Deane Warnick, War-nick, Rachel Anderson and Glen Anderson received gifts at the door. The long table in the serving room was centered with a lovely wedding cake, flanked with red roses in crystal holders and lighted light-ed pink candles. Formally clad young ladies who served were: Misses Jeniel Simper, ReNee Or-ton, Or-ton, Ellen Brady, Connie Newman, and Joyce Remington. Accompanying the young couple to Manti Wednesday and witnessing witness-ing the temple ceremony were the parents of the young couple, Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Roberts, and other relatives and friends from Oak City and other points. |
