LAMAR MONSON (Sue Chester) Garden Reception Honors Couple After Marriage Rites Last Saturday A garden reception honored newlyweds Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Monson Saturday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Warnick, the bridegroom's aunt and uncle. The bridal couple exchanged vows at the Warnick home prior to the reception. Bishop Harvey E. Smith of Manila Ward officiated. The bride, former Miss Susan Shester, is -a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas A. Chester, Brisbane, California. The bridegroom is a son of Ivan B. Monson, Pleasant Grove. The gown selected by the bride was a ballerina-length model of silk. Embroidery of irridescent sequins, se-quins, seed pearls and crystal beads traced the round neckline of the bodice. A small bow enhanced the back of the skirt. The bride's bouquet was of pink rosebuds and stephanotis surrounding surround-ing a white' orchid. Miss LaVerne Hall, Miss Diane Warnick and Miss Marcia Ann Chipman attended the bride. They wore princess-style dresses in pastel pas-tel shades and carried large gold wedding rings with pink carnations. carna-tions. I Assisting as best man was Mel-vin Mel-vin Harris. Boyd Carter and Carl Warnick ushered. I At the guest book was Geri Stewart and serving were Lynn ! Carter and Lynda Peck. Hostess was Mrs. Kent Anderson. Assisting in line with the parents par-ents were Mr. and Mrs. Earl Matthews. Gifts were taken care of by Glenda Adams and LuDean Wilcox. Greeting friends and relatives who called were Mr. and Mrs. Howard ; Warnick. The justweds will honeymoon enroute to a new home in South San Francisco, Calif. I |
