Show Funeral Rites for Frank Sjostedt Held Saturday Funeral rites for Frank R. Sjostedt were held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary. Mor-tuary. Mr. Sjostedt died at his home here Tuesday, Feb. 24 of a heart attack. The servioes began at 1 p.m.' with Merlyn Wadley of the Second Sec-ond Ward bishopric in charge. E. Ray Gardiner of American Fork offered the invocation. Speakers who paid tribute to the memoiy of the departed and spoke words of sympathy and encouragement to the family were Vern Holindrake of American Amer-ican Fork and OrvUie Stevens of Price, member of Carbon Stake . presidency. Miss Carol Pulley accompanied by Jay Shields, sang two numbers, num-bers, "In the Garden" and "Going "Go-ing Home." Benediction was pronounced pro-nounced by George Stringham. Burial was made in American Fork City Cemetery where the dedioatorial prayer was offered by Norman Shum-way. Brief graveside rites were conducted con-ducted by the Loyal Order of Moose. Pallbearers were Blaine Singleton, Single-ton, Jay Woiiton, Cleo McKinley, sons in law; Jack and Blaine Bracken, nephews and Jay Black-ham. Black-ham. Second ward Relief Society cared for and arranged the flowers. |
