Show Funeral Rites for Maude Adamson Set for Thursday Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Grove Ward - Timpanogos Stake House, for Mrs. Byron (Maude Davis) Adamson, 55, who died Sunday evening of a heart condition. The services will be under the direction of Bishop Karl Butler of the Grove Ward. Mrs. Adamson was born Aug. 6, 1901, at Wallsbui'g, the daughter of William Ray and the late Matilda Mat-ilda Faucett Davis, who passed away six months ago. She married Byron Adamson, Oct. 9, 1918, at Evanston, Wyoming. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They moved to Pleasant Grove 38 years ago, where they since have made their home. Mrs. Adamson has been an active act-ive member o fthe LDS Church all her life and has been a leader in Relief Society, Primary and MIA. She is survived by her husband of Pleasant Grove; her father, of Heber; and the following sons and daughters: Grant, Boyd, Nyle D. and Arlin Adamson, all of Ple&sant Grove; Mrs. Dale (Mariam) West, Provo; Mrs. Leo (Virginia) Ault, State of Washington; Janice Adamson, Pleasant Grove; eight grandchildren; two brothers,' Or-vUle Or-vUle Davis, Heber, and Raymond Davis, Big Piney, Wyoming; five sisters, Mrs. Vera Cummings, Heber; Heb-er; Mrs. Bessie Clow and Mrs. Dorothy Lindsey, Big Piney, Tilda Stevenson, Mountani Home, and Mrs. J. F. (Opal) Ollivier, of Pleasant Grove. Friends may call at the Olpin-Sundberg Olpin-Sundberg Mortuary Thursday prior to the services. Burial will be in the Pleasante Grove City Cemetery. |
