Show Funeral Sunday for Mrs. Isabelle Jacob HEBER Mrs. Isabelle West Jacob, 88, widow of Hugh A. Jacob, died at the home of a daughter Mrs. George Nelson, on Tuesday, at 11.30 p. m. after an extended illness. She was born Nov. 26, 1861, at Pleasant Grove, Utah, a daughter of William and Ann Cook West. She was a lifelong devoted member mem-ber of the Church "if Jesus Christ of Latter-day Sa;:as, and a Gold Star Mother. She was married to Mr. Jacob Dec. 11, 1889 in the Manti Temple. He died in 1937. survivors mciuae a son, inomas A. Jacob, Orem; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Nelson, Heber, and Mrs. Emma Duke, Salt Lake City; 14 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren. great-grandchildren. One son, William Jacob, died during World War I, and another son H. W. Jacobs of Pleasant G.rove, died in 1943. Funeral services will be conducted condu-cted Sunday at 3 p. m. in the 2nd ward LDS chapel, by Bishop Leonard Giles. Friends may call at the Nelson residence 191 W., 2nd north, Saturday Sat-urday afternoon and evening and Sunday until time of the services. Burial, directed by Olpin Mortuary will be in the Heber cemetery. |
