Show Clarke Allred Dies Monday Of Heart Attack Clarke E. Allred, 54, Lindon city employee, died of a heart attack Monday at 8:10 a.m. at the mouth of Dry Canyon east of Lindon. He and three other city employees were en route to the springs farther far-ther on up the canyon to do repair re-pair work on the culinary water equipment. He had been employed by Lindon city for twc; years. Mr. Allred was born -July 6, 1896 at Spring City, Sanpete County, a "son of Lawrence E. and Edah Maxfield Allred. He received his schooling in Pleasant Grove schools. During his youth the family fam-ily lived three years at Raymond, Alberta, Canada, and also for a short time in Idaho. He was an elder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Lindon ward, at the time of his death. Mr. Allred had served as quorum president. On Nov. 1, 1917 in the Salt Lake Temple, he married Jennie Kirk, Pleasant Grove. Survivors include his widow, four sons, and daughters, Lawrence and Colleen Allred, Lindon; Mrs. Gen-ieve Gen-ieve Hansen,, Lehi; Kirk Allred, Salt Lake City, four grandchildren,,, grandchild-ren,,, his mother, Pleasant Grove and four brothers and sisters, Richard I. Clark, Pleasant Grove, Mrs. Lucia Cutler, Lynwood, Calif; Mrs. Bernice Anderson, Brigham City, and Lamar Allred, Myers, Humboldt County, Calif. Funeral services were held yesterday yes-terday at 2:30 p.m. in the Lindon ward chapel. Burial was in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. |
