Show Funeral Services Set Saturday for Ida Williamson Funeral services have been set for Saturday, November 13, 1971 for Ida Ehiora Christiansen Christian-sen Williamson, 89, who died Nov. 10, 1971 in the Utah Valley Hospital of natural causes. Services will be held in the Olpin Family Moruary Chapel, Pleasant Grove. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday evening, and Saturday prior to the services at the mortuary. Mrs. Williamson was born July 11, 1882 in Pleasant Grove to William and Mary Anderson Christiansen. She married Hans Williamson July 1, 1903 in PI. Grove. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mr. Williamson died July 1, 1903. Mrs. Williamson was an active ac-tive member of the LDS Church having served as a visiting teacher tea-cher for the Relief Society, primary pri-mary teacher, and was a member mem-ber of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Pio-neers. She was an avid gardener gard-ener and quilter. Surviving are two sons and three daughters, Mrs. Preston (Elnora) Gray, Lehi; Mrs. Ray C. (Clara) Houtz, Winona, Minn.; Mrs. James A. (Dorothy) (Dor-othy) Damico, Springville; Richard Williamson, American Fork and Stanley L. Williamson, William-son, Pleasant Grove. Also surviving sur-viving are 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Burial will be in the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove City Cemetery. |
