Show Funeral Rites Held Last Saturday for Milton B. Freeman Funeral services for Milton B. Freeman, 72, were held last Saturday, Nov. 9, 1968 at 11 a.m. in the Manila Ward Chapel Cha-pel under the direction of Bishop Bish-op David C. Harvey. Mr. Freeman died Wednesday, Wednes-day, Nov. 6, at his home, from a heart ailment. He had been a resident of Pleasant Grove all of his life. Speakers, who told of the long, useful and kindly life of the deceased were Merrill N. Warnick and S. Hal Haycock. A life sketch was read by Geniel Gen-iel Winslow and Bishop Harvey Har-vey spoke words of inspiration, solace and sympathy. Robert Monson, Susan Haycock Hay-cock and Ivan Monson sang "In the Garden" and Carol Swen-son Swen-son and Shirley Hatch sang "Sometime We'll Understand." the singers and also played prelude pre-lude and postlude music. Family prayer was led by Vern Freeman, Alex Wadley asked the invocation and Denton Den-ton Jackson offered the benediction. bene-diction. Pallbearers were Elwood, Dee and Earl Freeman, Lee Nielsen, Tom West and Brent Nielsen. Flowers were cared for and arranged by the Manila Ward Relief Society. Burial was in Pleasant Grove City Cemetery where President Boyd L. Fugal dedicated the grave. Mr. Freeman was born Jan. 7, 1896 in Pleasant Grove, to John J. and Hetta Winters Freeman. He married Pearl Nichols Nov. 12, 1942, Evans-ton, Evans-ton, Wyoming. She died Feb. 15, 1953. He was a sheepman, and farmer. He was a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include a brother, sisters: Isaac Reed, Mrs. Burton Bur-ton (Ruby) Nielsen, Mrs. Charles Char-les R. (Helen) McDonald, all of Pleasant Grove. |
