Show Edith S. Madsen 80th Birthday Open House Dec 5 Honoring her 80th birthday, Edith S. Madsen will be hosted at an open house Sunday, Dec. 5, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Central Utah Convalescent Center, Cen-ter, 575 East 1400 South in Or-em, Or-em, Utah. Mrs. Madsen was born in Salt Lake City, Dec. 2, 1891, a daughter dau-ghter of Moroni M. and Anna M. Sheets. She was married on Sept. 17, 1913 to David H. Madsen, Mad-sen, who was the State Fish and Game Commissioner. Mrs. Madsen lived in Lake-view, Lake-view, Utah County, and later in American Fork, until Mr. Mad-' Mad-' sen died in 1963. She then moved mov-ed to Pleasant Grove, where she is a member of the Grove Ward. Mrs. Madsen is a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers, and she has received a certificate certifi-cate from the state for her work at the Training School. She is the mother of one son, Guy Warren Madsen. |
