Show Roy Greenwood New Lion Club President Roy Greenwood was the choice ; of the Lions Club members in the; annual election of officers held j Thursday evening of last week at the regular luncheon, to guide the affairs of the club for the coming year, in the office of president. Other officers named in the election elect-ion were. Lloyd B. Adamson, first ' vice-president; Elmer Bate, second vice-president; Leo G. Meredith,! Third vice-president; Directors: Glen Taylor, Thomas A. Barratt, Warren P. Anderson, A. W. Clyde and Fred Cheever; Owen Humphries, Humph-ries, secretary; J. E. Chadwick, treasurer; Ben P. Moffett, Lion Tamer; Earl (Hap) Holmstead, Tail Twister, and Clarence Grant, music director. The officers retiring are: Glen L. Taylor, president; Dr. V. F. Houston, First vice-president; Orin Ashton, second vice-president; E. H. Boley, third vice-president; T. A. Barratt, Warren F. Anderson, C. A. Grant, Frank Humphries and Walter Slack, directors; A. F. Gais-ford, Gais-ford, Jr., secretary; John Robinson, treasurer; E. R. Tuttle, Lion Tamer; Tam-er; Earl Holmstead, Tail Twister; and J. A. West, music director. John L. Firmage, recently returned return-ed from California, spoke briefly at the meeting, relating experiences in the earthquake. He also spoke of general business conditions on the coast. The new officers will be inducted into office at the last meeting in April which will also be in the form of a ladies night. President Taylor and wife, Secretary Gaisford and wife, the incoming president and Secretary Roy Greenwood and their wives, will be in charge of the arrangements for the affair. r |
