She was born Nov. 5, 1882, in Leland, a daughter of Henry and Euphe-m- ia Simpson Hamilton. She married Frank Edwin Grant, June 21, 1905 in Salt Lake City. HediedJan 29, 1925, Mrs. Grant was an active member of the LDS Church, serving as a Relief Society teacher for many years. She also belonged to the DUP. Survivors include four sons and two daughters, Thomas Leroy Grant, St. Paul, Minn.; Howard Grant, Escondido, Calif.; Leslie Grant, Salt Lake City; Glen Grant, Tacoma, Wash.: Mrs. Stewart (Romona) Schaerrer, Payson; Mrs. Guy (Lucile) Nielson, Mapleton; 11 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Daniel W. Mr. Provstgaard married Betty Jean Underwood on Nov. 4, 1947 in Salt Lake City and later the marriage was solemnized at the Manti Temple. He was a motor operator at Geneva. He was a member of the LDS Church. He was an elder at the time of his death, had been an assistant scoutmaster; in the YMMIA presidency, an Improvement Era Director; on the Ward Senior Citizens Committee for three years and was a home teacher. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Douglas H., who is in the U.S. Navy at Long Beach, Calif.; Kelly Dean, Brenda Lee and Joy Lyn, all Payson; his parents, Mr, and Mrs. James Provstgaard, Payson; one brother, Janies Sheldon, Payson; and four sisters, Mrs. Paul (Laura Lee) Wood, Payson; Mrs. Frank (Joanne) Merryweather, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Keith Geylymatson, and Mrs. Gilbert (LaRae) Lopaz, Tooele. Jolene wrote her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kieth Clark that they spent several days in Hawaii before going to Tonga where Scott has accepted a teaching position. CWO Bradford was honored at a fareweU party on July 10, 1970 which relatives attended and enjoyed a buffet outdoor dinner. On July 17, CWO Bradford was honored at a party attended by friends and a fondue dinner was enjoyed by all. Lewis, Wash., from June 12 to July 23. Cadet Johnson is one of approximately 17,000 young men expected to attend ROTC advanced camps at various military installations throughout the nation. He will train as a small unit leader and instructor in realistic exercises, and will receive command experience and the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge in the field.
