Show SERVICES HELD fort FOH ELIZA M COOK MONDAY funeral services were held monday afternoon at 2 in the east ward chapel for mrs eliza arl cook who passed away last friday at the home of a daughter here A large number of people attended the services which were conducted by bishop W L adams and which commenced with a double mixed quartet consisting of della delia marsden pearl benson alice mitchell ray adams raymond wiltsey robert rowley and claude ort orton on singing though deepening trials accompanied compa nied by june decker on the piano the opening prayer was offered by simon A matheson after which the quartet sang the old rugged cross barbara M adams and velma T bayles were the speakers with bishop adams making a few closing remarks and reading a tribute to the deceased written by M A burton other musical numbers were a vocal duet in the th e garden by ay albert 0 quist and ivan decker a girls trio number that wonderful mother of mine by mala mary M matheson and a n d georgiana R Macfar macfarlane Iane with mrs mary L lyman a at the piano and the closing song by the quartet that beautiful land the closing prayer was offered by james N connell and at the cemetery wm C mitchell dedicated the grave pall bearers were granddaughters of the deceased audine mitchell hazel S smith virginia E lister mathel and lucile moore and betty benson while other smaller grand daughters carried the beautiful flowers under the supervision of laura paramore |
