Show Drive against birth defects begins Jan. 20 This year's Mothers March to raise funds for the continued March of Dimes battle against birth defects is scheduled to take place in Park City Ci-ty from Jan. 20 to 24. More than 20 volunteer marchers will call at an estimated 1,500 homes in the Park City area in this annual, nationwide campaign to improve the health of America's children. "The Mothers March is the March of Dimes special and personalized way of reaching into every neighborhood to ask for help in our efforts, " said Judy Hale, Park City's Mothers March captain. "Great progress has been made since the March of Dimes started the fight against birth defects in 1955," j she said. "And every year brings . more knowledge, more help for the unborn and newborn." Money collected during the f Mothers March helps support programs pro-grams in birth defects research, medical services and education pro-'f. pro-'f. grams. Last year more than $9 .' million was raised in Mothers Marches Mar-ches around the country. ' Recently, the Greater Utah Chapter of the March of Dimes granted $2,000 to purchase an intensive inten-sive care incubator-thermal control unit for the Wasatch pounty Hospital in Heber City.
