Show Ski report Park City Ski Area Wednesday morning under very cold temperatures, the Park City Ski Area reported all 11 chairs and the gondola open for business. All trails and bowls were open. The area received no new snow on top of its 99-inch base. ParkWest ParkWest had all of its 40 runs open, as well as seven chairlifts. The base depth was 80 inches, with no new snow. Deer Valley All lifts and runs were open at Deer Valley also. The base depth was 53 inches, with no new snow. Forecast The National Weather Service predicts a warming trend to finally break Park City out of the icebox, with temperatures topping out around 10 above Thursday, and warming to the mid-20s during the weekend. Skies will be partly cloudy, with some possible scattered scat-tered snow showers Friday night and Saturday morning. School board to meet The Park City Board of Education will meet Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the District offices in the Treasure Mountain Middle School. Prior to the public session, the board will interview candidates for the position left vacant by Rand i Clark, who represented school district in precinct 4. |
