("Together Everyone Achieves More") program pro-gram by recognizing a number of students for their academic and behavioral accomplishments accomplish-ments and honoring them as the "March Slamdunks". Each year, the class of 2008 has put up a good fight, and was very close to winning the coveted spirit title, but has never actually won. This y ear is our year. Aspen Elementary Assembly Children's book author Obert Skye will be at Aspen to speak at an assembly as-sembly for the upper grades Tuesday at 1:20 p.m. Skye's published works include the fantasy novel "Leven Thumps and the Gateway to Foo." Grandparents' Day Grandparents' Day at Aspen will be April 1L with special activities at various times f or the different grades. Geneva Elementary Sixth-grade dance The sixth-grade dance will be held April 1 1 from 2:30 to 4 p.m. In preparation, students have been learning dance steps and etiquette. The gym will be decorated for the event, and refreshments served. Northridge Elem. Nearly a million minutes Northridge students accumulated ac-cumulated 927,000 minutes of reading time in a one-month period in their quest to win a visit from a Utah Jazz basketball basket-ball player under a Jazz reading read-ing program. The school did win a visit from Jazz player Ronnie Price.
