Permits may also be purchased at the Maverick Store in Mountain View, Wyoming, seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any species of tree may be cut, but Lodgepole Pine is the main species in the area. Roads around the loop that goes by Henry’s Fork have been plowed. Snow conditions may require permit holders to use snowmobiles, cross-country skies, or snowshoes to access the cutting area. Trees must always be cut close to the ground, leaving the stump no higher than 6 inches. A shovel will come in handy to dig through the snow to reach the base of the tree. Tree topping is not allowed. DO NOT cut the top of trees, or cut down a large tree just to take the top. Always make sure before you leave the cutting area that the permit is attached securely to the tree. All campgrounds, picnic areas, plantations, and administrative sites are closed to cutting. Trees must also be cut at least 300 feet away from any road. Remember to always be prepared for winter weather. Be prepared for slick, snow packed roads; and have chains, a 4wheel drive vehicle or a snow machine available. Always let someone know where you are planning to go to cut your tree. Bring additional warm clothing, good warm gloves, boots, a container of hot liquid, water, and lunch or a snack, as it may take longer than expected. Carry a flashlight, chains, shovel, first aid kit, matches, a hatchet, ax or handsaw, and rope to tie your tree down. Enjoy your public lands, and have a happy and safe holiday. The technology is a unique type of energetic biofeedback called SCENAR. SCENAR is an acronym for Self-Controlled EnergoNeuro Adaptive Regulator. SCENAR was invented and developed in Russia by a group of scientists working for the Russian space program. The purpose of its existence was to provide the cosmonauts with effective tools to treat acute and chronic illness, yet still be small enough to fit into the space capsules. Knowing that the body can, and will, heal itself if there is unhindered communication with the brain through the nervous system, they devised a way to increase this communication. The Russian team of doctors and scientists was based at Sochi University, and was led by Alexander Karasev, an electrical expert; and neurologist Dr. Alexander Revenko, who in the late 1970’s developed a computerized method of treatment via biofeedback that was energy efficient, multi-applicable, portable and also non-invasive. This new devise has been widely used in Russian hospitals since the early 1980’s. However, it remained a military secret until the fall of communism (perestroika) and the opportunity for inventions to be privately owned in the mid 1980’s. At that time, the inventors were issued a patent for the device and are now able to market their invention. Dr. Zulia Valeyeva-Frost, a Russian born pediatrician practicing in London, obtained the exclusive rights to manufacture and sell SCENAR to the Americas and parts of Europe and Great Britain. She currently focuses her practice to the use of the SCENAR devise, and has taken on the arduous task of translating into English, the Russian studies on this medical treatment, and other medical literature regarding SCENAR. The way the SCENAR works is based upon new advancements of energetic medicine. Energetic medicine teaches that the body is an information field composed of many separate information fields as defined by quantum physics. The best way to alter pathology is via electronic information fields, such as is capable with SCENAR. The SCENAR utilizes biofeedback to detect and treat areas of the body that are not functioning correctly. The definition from the National Library of Medicine states that biofeedback “is a process that uses instrumentation to give a person immediate and continuous signals of change in his bodily functions that he is usually unaware of.” By stimulating the nervous system, it is able to teach the body to heal itself. The SCENAR devise is unique in that it utilizes two types of feedback. It not only stimulates a response from the body through the nervous system, but it then sends in a regulating signal causing a release of naturally occurring compounds that promote healing in the body. Traditional medicine perceives the body as a complex system of chemical reactions. Thus, the best way to alter pathology may be via chemicals (pharmaceuticals). New findings in quantum physics reveal that the universe, including the human body, is composed of energetic information fields. Thus the human body functions according to quantum physics and not according to Newtonian physics as has been taught for many years. Quantum mechanics functions at an energetic level. Energetic medicine influences the energy of the injured cells rather that changing the chemistry of the body. Thus utilizing the SCENAR provides a treatment method that is safe, gentle, drugless, non-invasive, and highly effective. Dr. Harper feels that SCENAR is utilized effectively with chiropractic care. In chiropractic, the doctor removes subluxations from the spine, a misalignment of a vertebra that interferes with the flow of information of the central nervous system as it exits and SCENAR cont. on page 13 |
