Show QJQ&Eir LAIRD-SWANK. Two hundred guests were witnesses last evening, at tho Methodist church, of tho wedding of Miss Bertha A. Laird, daughter of Mr and Mrs F S Laird and Roy A. Swank, a builder and contractor of this city Promptly at S 15 the bridal party, entered tho church to the strains of Mendelssohn's wedding march, which was played softly throughout the ceremony by Samuel F Whltaker. Preceding the bride, accompanied by her father, were the pretty little flower girls, Lenore Laird and Bertha Nelson, attired In lainty white dnesses and carrying pink roses while thoy gracefully brought forward from tho entrance to the altar the white satin ribbons which enclosed the main aisle and immediately immed-iately behind! them camo dainty little Mary Fisher bearing the ring on a white velvet cushion. The bride in a beautiful cream messaline and Brussels net gown, en train, long tulle veil fastened with white rosebuds and carrying a shower bouquet of white bride's roses, together togeth-er with her bridesmaids, Miss Rosamond Rosa-mond Laird, In a becoming gown of pale blue organdie, pale bluo sash, white picture hat trimmed with forget-me-nots, and carrying a shower bouquet of pink roses and Miss Beatrice Young, wearing a white organdie with yellow" design, yellow sash and picture hat with yellow yel-low rosebuds, also carrying a shower bouquet of pink roses, made a truly lovely picture. The groom In conventional conven-tional blnck and accompanied by best mnn, Kenneth Griffin, received tho bride at the altar, where, kneeling on a white satin cushion amid the profusion pro-fusion of roses, smilax and lilies that banked the altar steps, the words of the beautiful ring ceremony were impressively im-pressively pronounced by Reverend Frederick Vinlng Fisher, " Gus Hamer and Roy Hamer were the ushers. Immediately following the nuptial ceremony and the warm congratulations congratula-tions of the guests a reception was held at the LnlrrJ home on Qulncy avenue, which had been made royally beautiful with choice roBes, the-sweet testimonial of the love and esteem of a host of friends of the popular young musician who so faithfully and acceptably ac-ceptably served the Methodist churcn as organist for the past four years. At the elaborate Tour-course dinner at which covers were laid for the Immediate Im-mediate family. Rev. and Mrs. Fisher, little Mary Fisher, all members of the bridal party and out-of-town guests, toasts to the bride and groom were given and- the occasion made memorable memor-able In many happy, delightful ways. Mrs, Laird was nsslBted In serving by Miss Francos Huffman, of Peta-luma, Peta-luma, California, Mrs. L. D. Schryver of BatesvIIle, Arkansas, and Mrs. H. C. Trobee of Salt Lake Many beautiful wedding gifts were offered, together with best wishes from numerous friends and loving and congratulatory con-gratulatory messages from absent ones. Mr and Mrs. Swank went directly to their boautlful home on Endlon avenue, which had been made ready with many added touches from loving hands for the happy joung couple. LADIES' AID. The members of the Ladles' Aid Society of the Methodist church will meet in the church parlors tomorrow afternoon for annual election of officers offi-cers and regular business meeting, which will be followed by a pleasantly planned social hour.
